You are at least 18 years of age and the age of majority in your state, province, or territory of residence at the time of purchase.

You assert that you are not a felon and not legally barred from purchasing, possessing, or using body armor and you are legally allowed to possess and use body armor in your state. Your purchase does not violate any local, state, or federal laws. You are not purchasing the body armor for criminal purposes and you will only use the body armor purchased for lawful purposes. You are purchasing the body armor on your own behalf and not on behalf someone else. You assume all risk of use (or misuse) of the body armor purchased.

Illegally purchasing, possessing, or using body armor or other items sold by BIKERCOOLSTUFF.COM may result in severe legal consequences for you, up to and including incarceration.  BIKERCOOLSTUFF.COM will fully cooperate with all criminal investigations.

You understand that no body armor is 100% bullet proof. Among other things, specialized armor piercing bullets and ultra-high velocity rounds may not be stopped by body armor. No soft body armor will completely protect against rifle or long gun ammunition. For protection against rifle threats, BIKERCOOLSTUFF.COM offers NIJ Level IV hard armor to be used in conjunction with your soft body armor. Always refer to your ballistic panel inserts to determine the protection rating of your armor.

You understand that the BIKERCOOLSTUFF.COM body armor consists of the carrier (the carrier is the vest that holds the bullet resistant panels) and the ballistic (bullet resistant) plates. The carrier is not bullet resistant. The ballistic plate inserts are bullet resistant.

You will not test body armor by wearing it and being shot with a firearm--any video submitted to us showing such behavior will not be promoted in any way, and, if posted publicly (e.g., YouTube), could be used against you in criminal prosecution.

You agree, for yourself and your heirs, assigns, and agents, to fully and completely release, never bring any action in any court of law against, and to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BIKERCOOLSTUFF.COM for any and all liability stemming from your purchase, possession, or use of the item(s).

Connecticut prohibits residents from buying or selling body armor except through a face-to-face sale. Online retailers cannot market and sell to Connecticut residents. This law does not apply to law enforcement purchases, members of the National Guard or armed forces. Maryland law mandates that all civilians with a prior conviction for a crime of violence, or a drug trafficking crime, are prohibited from using, possessing, or purchasing bullet proof body armor without a permit issued by the Secretary of the Maryland State Police.

Level III rifle rated plates are now under the control of the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS)and administered under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and remain subject to the export controls laws of the U.S. Government. Export or retransfer of Level III Rifle Plates by any means to any foreign end user, or for any other end user, whether in the U.S, or abroad, without the written approval of the U.S. Department of Commerce, is prohibited.

BIKERCOOLSTUFF.COM will not engage in any transaction that requires the illegal export of any products and will not assist directly or indirectly with the illegal export or re-export of any products.

The BIKERCOOLSTUFF.COM carrier vest should not be washed, but rather should be dry cleaned when needed.

IMPORTANT: Do not machine wash or dry clean the panel inserts.  Bulletproof panels lose their ballistic performance when wet as the water acts as a lubricant. When this happens, it makes the panels susceptible to bullet penetration.

Remove panels from inside the carrier vest. Gently wipe panels using a mild soap and water. Allow to dry prior to reinstalling the panels in the carrier vest.

No warranties of fitness, or use are provided. The entire risk of use, quality and performance of all products remains solely with the consumer. Ballistic, edged and spike resistance ratings are limited to the conditions under which laboratory testing was conducted, including but not limited to, barrel length, shot distance, shot placement, temperature, powder, velocity, bullet mass, bullet composition, backing material etc.
